Summer happenings

At Granite City, we eat together, have fun together, and find spiritual connection together. This summer has opportunities for all these and more -- check out some of the events we have in store for you. All events are free and held at the church unless otherwise noted.

Juneteenth Celebration | June 19th, 6-8:30pm
This Monday, join us for dinner followed by a special screening of Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom, a feature-length film that teaches about the cultural and spiritual significance of the Juneteenth holiday. The film is suitable for middle school ages and up, and childcare will be provided for younger children. RSVP for Juneteenth

20's and 30's Board Game Night | June 24th, 7pm
Find out who the really competitive people are! Abby & Andrew are hosting the young adult group at their Quincy home for a mid-summer board game showdown.

All-Church BBQ | July 2nd, right after Sunday service
An Independence Day cookout is one of our church traditions, so bring your favorite potluck dish and let's eat together! We'll provide the burgers, hotdogs, accompaniments and drinks.

Worship Cafe | July 14th, 7pm
Join our own Mike Maynard at Redeye Coffee Roasters in Hingham for a coffeehouse worship set with an ocean view. Look out for more details coming soon.

KidsRock Summer Blast | July 25th-27th, 6-8pm
Kids, get ready to have the best three nights of your summer at our KidsRock Summer Blast. Children who are entering grade K through just-promoted 5th graders are invited to Ready, Set, Move! We'll be jumping into tons of fun activities, games and crafts as our kids learn to love Jesus and grow their faith. Registration details will be sent out to families in the coming weeks.

Movie Night | August 19th, 7pm
We're rolling out the big screen and the popcorn machine -- so join us on Saturday, August 19th for theater snacks and a flick that all ages will enjoy. Invite a friend!
