Newcomers Group

In this six-week session for people who are newcomers to Granite City, we will use the BLESS curriculum ("Begin with Prayer," "Listen with Care," "Eat Together," "Serve with Love," and "Share Your Story") to explore how God's mission to reach and restore people can happen through you and the church. The Granite City Kendall Square lunch group meets once a month on a Wednesday during the work week at a restaurant near Kendall Square. Attendees typically work in the Kendall Square area and attend Granite City. Attendees pay for their own lunch, and are encouraged to bring guests. In this informal group, we focus on general fellowship and the discussion of topics related to the intersection of work and faith.

Every Thursday evening a group of men meet to encourage one another and grow in faith as men of God. We discuss a passage in the Bible or a book related to being a man of God, and spend some time sharing and in prayer. Previous studies have included the book of Romans, the life of David, the Community Bible Experience, and Kingdom Man by Tony Evans.
