Prayer around Quincy with the 20's and 30's Young Adult Group | Saturday, May 30th, 11am -1pm
As Quincy continues to grow, so does the opportunity for us to love and serve the people God is bringing into our community. New apartment buildings are quickly changing the landscape of Quincy Center, meaning hundreds of new neighbors will soon be living just steps away from our church. As followers of Jesus, we don’t want to simply observe these changes. We want to prayerfully engage with them.
That’s why our 20’s & 30’s group will be gathering for a Prayer Around Quincy event on Saturday, May 30th at 11:00 AM. We'll meet outside Granite City Church before taking a short walk through Quincy Center together. During our walk, we’ll spend time praying intentionally for the people who live, work, and pass through our city each day. We’re asking God to move in the hearts of our neighbors and prepare us as a church to be a welcoming, compassionate, and Christ-centered presence in Quincy.
Prayer walks are a simple but meaningful way to become more aware of both God’s presence and the needs of the community around us. We’ll be praying that people searching for hope, belonging, healing, or purpose would encounter Jesus in real and transformative ways.
After our prayer walk, we’ll head to a local lunch spot to continue building community together through conversation and fellowship.
Whether you’ve participated in a prayer walk before or this would be your first time, we’d love for you to join us as we pray for our city and the people God is bringing into it. All young adults are welcome!
