On Sunday, August 27th, the KidsRock Closet at Granite City Church will sponsor a Back to School FREE clothing event. From 12:30-2:30pm, local families in need can browse the Closet for free kids' clothing essentials and receive a package of free socks & undies (kids'/youth sizes; while supplies last). Kids can enjoy making a craft, creating their own healthy snack, and posing for a keepsake pic at our back to school photo booth.
This event is made possible by donations from the congregation of Granite City Church. If you'd like to give kids in our community a healthy and dignified start to the school year, there are three ways you can help:
- Bring donations of new socks and underwear (for boys and girls, all kid and youth sizes) to church by August 27th. Donation bins will be available at the back of the church.
- Give directly to our socks & undies fund. Your donation will help provide new packages of socks and underwear to one, two, or even more kids!
- Spread the word. Do you know families in your neighborhood who could use a little help? Share this event!
