We are excited to host our regular Sunday service at 10am and a special candlelight service at 7pm on Christmas Eve. Each service will uniquely usher in the joy and the wonder of the season.
Advent | December 3, 10, 17
Our Advent sermon series Hark: Hearing Old Carols with New Ears begins December 3rd. With special music, readings, and teaching each week, we reflect on the coming of Jesus and the miraculous arc of redemption that is promised.
Birthday Party for Jesus | December 1, 7pm: Kids grades K-5 celebrate the birth of Jesus with through Bible stories, games, fun and -- of course -- birthday cake.
Family Movie Night | December 8th, 6pm: Get your family in the holiday spirit with the animated Christmas favorite "The Star" and some festive movie snacks. Wear your jammies and bring a friend!
Next Gen Holiday Party | December 15, 6pm: Ready, set, swap! (Gifts, that is!) Youth grades 6-12 gather for their annual holiday bash.
Swedish Coffee Hour | December 10, after service: We remember the Swedish history of Granite City Church with a traditional Christmas buffet of Scandinavian sweets and savories.
Christmas Brunch | December 17, 8:45am: Eat and be merry! Join us for our annual Christmas brunch before the Sunday service. Bring a dish to share! Sign up here.
Alpha | December 6, 13, 20, 7pm: Every Wednesday, join a group conversation about life's big questions in an open, friendly environment. It's free, dinner is provided, and everyone is welcome.
Blue Christmas Service | December 9, 7pm: Grieving? Stressed? Feeling the weight of the world? This is a service of light and hope for anyone who is hurting this holiday season.
Christmas Worship Celebration | December 17, 10am: Come and praise! This special service features all the music and joy of the Christmas season.
Candlelight Christmas Eve Service | December 24, 7pm: Celebrate the light coming into the world through the birth of our Savior with a message of hope and candlelight carols.
We are located at 315 Whitwell St. in Quincy Center. Parking is available in the back of the church building and at MountainOne Bank next door.
Sunday services start at 10 am. Special service times are noted above.
Wondering what to wear? There's no dress code at Granite City Church! Feel free to dress comfortably.
Kids' programming: Nursery is available for all Sunday morning services (age 6 months-3). Kids' classes for age 3 - grade 5 run on Sunday mornings (except December 17th, Christmas Worship Celebration Sunday).
First time visiting us? Everyone is welcome here, no matter where you are on your faith journey.
